Home lunchie

Last nite was dreaming about rice belachan and green chili wif vinegar....Got up bright n early today decided to eat at home for lunch.... Sometimes one gotta be thrifty .. If u can eat at home why not? It's all bout saving.... I can't always be eating out.... I forgot to get dried fish.... Salted dried fish... But it's ok... Can live wif this... Gonna tuck in for lunch later nom nom nom...

This is like my ideal last meal on this earth... Seriously... I don't need meat hahahahahaha.... I'm fine wif a simple meal like that. Growing up this was like my typical meal.... Everyday..... Love it.

Just got back not too long ago. I'm in bed now all snuggled up. I'm soo tired, gonna sleep like a baby tonight. Rest those eyes of urs my friends close ur eyes say a prayer and sleep.  My feets aching so bad. Too much of standing ... Haiz. Tomorrow is gonna be a good good day. Stay positive, my friends. Spicy devil lunch.

My spicy devil lunch....at usmans... Mutton and chicken masala... Really wanted to get naan but chose biryani instead... Omg I'm so full now... So I'm gonna skip dinner... We were so hungry we forgot to order curd or greens ..... 

Met the homie at little india mrt control station took a nice walk to usmans.. I didn't want sakunthalas gayatris or muthus so sick of it...muthus really pricey... Good food but ex la... I rather cook myself .... Gayatris super reasonable but I wanted smth different a different cuisine I guess.. This is Pakistani style masala it looks the same as how the South Indians cook it but the taste is different it's a lot spicier ... I can't take spice... Not a lot... So I got myself some iced water....wanted to eat with hand but chose cutlery in d end hehe.... No choice if I was at home Id whack by hand :) D biryani is really fragrant basmati rice I love the rice..the masala is spicy.. Not really served hot, so that's a minus... Overall I give it 7 masalas!!! d staff r super friendly especially the guy that gets a seat for u super hardworker n he gives awesome recommendations ...

It's along the street ..so u can see cars go by . It's an open concept style , hawker style ...my style!! It gets really hot in the afternoon there's outdoor n indoor seating ... I took a picture of the menu so y'all can check it out before goin :) go easy on d food cos portion size is huge ... Especially the biryani... I couldn't finish it so my homie helped me wif it.. I dun eat too much of rice I'm more of a noodle girl :) 

This wud have gone well wif nice cold yogurt... Yogurt wif cucumber and lots of onions and archar.... Back to work ,guys...

Hanging out at the library waiting for 1:30 for lunch wif the work buddy... Decided to have lunch at serangoon road.... Wasting my time reading about stupid Kim. I don't know why she's always making the headlines what's so good bout her? I rather read about Barbara Walters! Urgh! And Kanye.... U suck!!! And my tummy is rumbling... I wanna makan!!! Hehehehehehe. Mutton and chicken masala.. Omg I hope I don't get the runs later... I dunno why but whenever I eat spicy food always wanna go toilet... I think I've sensitive tummy? I cnt take too much spicy food that's why I prefer eating chinese food soupy Chinese food.... Oh and did I mention I'm having a bad hair day today.... I bunned up my hair too tight over d weekend n now it's so tangly... I can't comb or it will be too thin... N that's d last thing I want!! I like it fluffy like a horse tail.... Bad hair day makes one feel so sucky huh..... I conditioned my hair last night but it's still so tangly and dry.... Applied some leave on serum ... Oh boy.. Looks like I have to keep reapplying every tens mins...... U know it sucks takin d train so many faces lookin atcha .. N ur hair lookin Farked up!!!!! Ahhhhh?!!!!!!! Who cares ?

Li Nanxing and Zhu Houren lol!!! Omg the Unbeatables , remember that show????! I remember rushing back home just to catch it! I hate CCAs (extra curriculum activity) cos of the Unbeatables ... Hehehehe Houren is like singapores Sean Connery lol... His really good in villain roles....very charming on screen...I dun see him on tv anymore......  He needs a standing ovation for his awesome acting.... Another one is li nanxing hehehehehe ... They need to come back to acting... Clap clap clap.... Channel 8 ain't the same without em veterans 

Noah the movie. My Saturday....

Met a homie at plaza sing for a chit chat. She's doin really well in life. Glad to see her so studious. And she's 4 years my junior. I told her to study real hard. Education should always be number one on the list.. I love education , love it so much. So good to see her loving it as well! We kept hugging , I'm missin that girl already!

I'm proud and lucky that my dad paid for my education...yes my dad paid for my full education. I'll forever be grateful to him...we have our differences and all but in the name of education, he gave me all that I need. Thank u dad!

D movie taught me to be appreciative and be god fearing.. 

Right after the meet up...Walked over to Cathay....met another friend, chilled outside the theatre for a bit ... Was craving for a smoke but had some coffee instead... Crazy seeing others smoking dun u jus wanna grab d stick from them!!!! Oh boy.. He shared about how life is so sucky .. Nth good goin for him..I told him to suck it up and think positive. Hear some good music take it slow and easy... Push out the negative ppl in ur life... Ppl who make u sad who make u cry..push them out.. Focus on good things.. If these ppl don't appreciate u, why even stay? Leave!!! Get out fast.. They probably jus enjoy the attention ur giving them so don't give any... Conserve ur energy . Watch a movie read a back or check out law watch website hehehehehehehe...read up on cases, get a nice law book.. Watever that makes U happy.. Dress up go out make merry.. Have some beer!!! Enjoy life..

We r still young baby!!! Be happy... U know smth? I've been lookin so radiant for the past two weeks.. Cos I pushed out negative ppl in my life... I don't look old anymore.. I'm so bubbly laughing so hard so much.. N the best part? I'm not faking it. It's all natural ,, u gotta feel it.. I can't fake it cos I've friends who I've known all my life.. I can't fake it not wif em.. They can see tru it.. I'm so happy at where I am in life now... 

At times u can't force it Enuff is enuf  u know?if u think ur life suck, get out and see the real world. Take a stroll down a heartland estate u see some elderly picking up soft drink cans in the sweltering heat rummaging tru bins lookin for cans... Elderly sitting gazing in space alone.. Very lonely.. How's that? Is ur life better? Not that gazing is bad, but I'm sure they wud love some company... Dear friends stop thinkin negatively .. Push that all out.. Smile more.. Change ur Mindset. I jus dun wanna see my friends hurt. When ur busy in life don't forget these ppl.. The elderly living alone.. Put ur phone away, observe ur surroundings.. Say hello to them... Learn some dialect Malay whatever.. Chit chat wif em.. Buy them some fruits, sit down wif them for awhile.. 5 mins talk to them and then go on wif ur day .. I do that a lot.. Before takin the trains I'll jus sit down chit chat wif em abit of hokkien mandarin and Malay...trust me!!!! It's gonna make u feel really happy... It sure makes me happy.... 

Back to the movie.. I giv it ten popcorns!!!! Not gonna be a spoiler for those who have not seen it ... So I'll keep it for later..all I'm gonna say is u won't regret it!!! It's that good!!!! Cheers guy.. And keep smiling.. Positive!!!!

Good Sunday my dear friends Muackssss!!!!

Waking up, wearing my cute pair of denim shorts and a crop top with a high bun, no make up and no black contact lens!!! Yes I'm ditching my Korean black lens!!!! No more , I'm goin natural 😊 my natural brown eyes.. I'm gonna miss them lens but it sorta tore in my eyes yesterday thank god I was patient took many deep breaths and removed it , rinsed my eyes wif water packed some ice pack on it ... I'm goin back to my good old spectacles 

Decided to have kfc am twister for breaking alone... Was up all night reading up some stuff for school. N work is being a total B! I'm enjoying my alone time now.... They are playin class 95 here ...lovin it.. Seeing lots of happy faces here.. Ppl are actually greeting me good mornings... Is this really singapore? :). Maybe cos I'm all smiley.... Btw did I mention I'm gettin dreadlocks next week! Hahahah yea! I wanna try it .. My friends hookin me up wif a stylist whose doin it for free. I'm excited!!! :) n I'm thinkin of goin darker wif my hair it's so light now .. Not working today so I probably grab some women's health magazines gonna workout later

I wanna tone my legs kinda make it longer.. I love long legs ... Sadly I dun have that.. I gloss my legs a lot tons of moisturizer to create the long leggy effect but fail!!! Ok guys gonna get back to eating the wifi here is soo good!!!!!

Have you thanked someone today? I wanna say a big THANK YOU to 'Uncle Newspaper'. The one and only Uncle who has been delivering our national newspaper (ON THE DOT) right to our door every day for over 25 years now. When we really young, my brothers and I would race to the door and we would compete to grab the paper from Uncle. He would always give us that grim face and then few seconds later break into a giggle. Now that we are all grown up, we still affectionately refer to him as "Uncle Newspaper". And he has no issues with that. Thank you for the hard work and sheer dedication getting our papers to our doors on time. I salute you, Uncle! One of many unsung heroes. Thank you.

Right after noah this weekend , I'm going for a sushi binge! ;) I love jap food and THAI! OMG and of cos Chinese. If I don't feel like eating sushi on Saturday I probably do a takeaway...most probably thai , there's nth on tv this Saturday...mmmm maybe ill borrow a book.

My prayers.

Lord Jesus, It breaks my heart when I see construction workers working so hard in this excruciating heat.. Building this building that.. Roadworks and all. Pls bring back some breeze for them!!! Pls? I pray that their supervisors will always show them utmost care and concern. They leave their family and homes jus to make a living here. Please guide and protect them. You can't let it rain or their work wud get dragged .. Jus give some breeze already some wind!!! WIND MY GOD WIND!!!! Amen. Guide them all of my brothers be it working hard on roads highways wherever in the heat, guide them and protect them from injuries etc.

When u start whining bout the heat, think about all d workers working hard jus for us jus to make our roads safe...don't whine but pray for them. Pray for their safety. I can't imagine how it must feel working for hours in the heat. Jesus pls answer my prayers. Amen.

Wow LIFE PAPER gave it 4 stars... 4 out of 5!!!!I've already booked my tix online. First thing yesterday. I NEVER EVER READ REVIEWS ONLINE before watching a movie not even d plot I like surprises... If I don't like it, so be it..no big deal. If I like it, I'll talk non stop bout it. But no reading of reviews !!will catch noah this Saturday and I'll update u guys ya!! :) can't wait to catch Emma Stone in action..I've packed my fleece blanket already... :) watching this alone yes alone hahaha I hate watching it wif friends can never concentrate.... Ppl go club to party not to fight. Seriously what's goin on? Those were the happening days. We pretty much look out for each other - stranger or no stranger.. We were never in each other's way. Sharing tables, sharing space even sharing drinks. I can't say the same about now.. It's almost too dangerous to party. It shouldn't be this way. Let ur hair down. Stick to ur group and behave. It's about having fun remember? Not getting bruises. Omg .... I've seriously no words.

Im in bed wif my watsons watermelon mask on... Blogging... My tv is running channel surfing ..later is gonna be a long long day..And now Im craving for a pack of reds bleah .no no I got this I can't smoke no more!!! Gotta brush my teeth to stop d cravings.. Only good thing about my life now is that I get to see the cute guy everyday lol!!!! :) Rebecca thinks his ugly hehe but no I think his cute.. He drinks a lot of 100 plus I like isotonic drinks but I don't drink em like every 2 mins :) he does ...n his got hairy arms...which I like! He likes nirvana that's a plus... I hope we talk more later.... Lunch break hehe :) I was thinking of baking cupcakes for everyone either that or biryani not sure which one... ok guys I'm gona hit d sac , first wash my face say my prayer n it's sweet dreams muahhhhh u guys XXXX

This is jus a gentle reminder if y'all see me smiling to myself in the morning pls know that I'm NOT crazy!!! I jus hav Glenn and JA in my ears... it's really more of Glenn and his jokes. Some ppl don't find him funny , but I do. I think his super authentic real and genuine. I attended the radio awards last year and he was seated right in front first row omg I was telling a friend of mine HE SHOULD BE HOSTING!!!! But then again I dun think d show wud make it to air hehehehehe. His genuinely funny , his always pissed off lol n I kinda like that. I grew up listening to Glenn.. Simmone honky tong D EGO TRIP( die die must tune in everynight at 11 pm) I think it was after dj carrie's shift? Cnt recall.. lol plus he is super hardworking n he comes up wif really authentic material... His d most genuine radio dj ever period...N omg I miss Rod!!! Their partnership, I'm sure Rod is doin really well in malaysia... I've yet to tune in , I wonder if it's possible to tune in via online? So pls if u ever see me laughing to myself on d bus I'm not mad lah, it's Glenn hehe :)

I don't like looking at my phone when I'm out...cos I'm super clumpsy. I fall all the time. So ull nvr see me lookin at my phone when I'm out. Not even on d bus, I like looking out at buildings, cars .. Biked everything.. Wif a rosary in my hand, reciting the rosary. So yesterday was along Lornie road omg the houses are amazingly beautiful. Big white houses along the road.. N then after st Margaret's sec school tons of condos omg beautiful. I don't mind cleaning their homes for them hehe ,. Make it really clean and spotless.. Passed by blessed sacrament church, made a sign of the cross.. Thanked Jesus for everything , love him so much. I think I've made a 360 change. I see things differently now. I'm more mature. I enjoy having my own personal space hanging out doing my favorite stuff cos most of the time I'm surrounded wif peeps and I'm always smiling n being the loud one in the group .. Jus really quirky ... When I'm not wif ppl, I'm more chilled out relax I like the chilled out me... My radio died on me so I can't tune in to my favorite gold 90.5 fm )( they don't make music like that anymore) and my favorite Glenn and JA!!!!!! Omg morning drive FUN crew... my iPod isn't working.. N i have no plans on using a lot of my cellular data so for now it's jus the rosary and me :) ;) 

Fleece!!! IKEA haul.

Yesterday was my rest day so decided to head out to ikea @ Alexandra..alone.. took bus 93 from Braddell road.. Omg the journey was crazy long! I arrived at ard 4 pm. Took a trolley and walked around, I forgot to do a to-do list! But I knew I needed fleece blankets.. Just fleece blankets, that's all. I have em everywhere at my study, my couch, my bed ...I cannot watch tv without bundling up... Hehe...but first up had to check out my favorite section the POTS AND PANS section, I love that section lol...  I cook a lot at home so pots and pans are really essential. I invest in good pots .. It's a must have! Really. U can't be cooking good food in bad quality pots... Love Non stick frying pans ... I've tons of pans at home besides jus wanted to check out d section... Walked over to the linen section, soft blankets pillow casing omg I wanted to buy everything white!!! White clean sheets To die for.. I don't like colored sheets altho I use em a lot I jus end up buying colored ones cos I'm so lazy to do laundry .. With colored ones u can jus pretend u didn't see a stain but u cnt wit white ones...while walking ard I remember MEATBALLS!!! Lol... But no! I didn't wanna go over my calorie limit so I got my fleece ... Walked ard a lil more to the bed section and stuff toys got tired paid n left.. Crossed the road to macs for some iced milo, people watch for awhile...  n then finally made my way back home. It was like ard 8. Check out my fleece. Got the red one sexy siren red.. That's for the bedroom! Hehe... For movie marathon etc. D purple one for my study. D white one probably for d hall.. Like when I'm on d phone or skyping. Check it out!!! ;)

Finished work, decided to head to Amk to get dinner. Mixed rice, veg and curry chicken. Seriously craving for rice, archar and salted fish...With LOADS OF VINEGAR!!! omg nom nom nom... Wanna cook that this weekend. Will head to little India this Saturday morning to my favorite Selvi shop, get my pickles archar and VINEGAR!! Head back home for bollywood masthi and crime night marathon!!! Boo my hair is so dry... Will grab a bottle of MBR coconut oil. Marinate my hair overnight, have a good shampoo wash on Sunday. With tresemme. Sounds like a plan!!!
